HI + HELLO!

Based in the north of Melbourne, we are the head honchos in a modern day version of the Brady Bunch. Two teen girls, two tween boys, three cats and a dog and an ongoing discussion on the merits of getting another - it’s a life not for the faint-hearted.

What it IS however is the foundation for a partnership that can tackle just about anything. Combine that with a decade of photographic experience and you have a recipe for a view of the world based on the quirky, occasionally clumsy and always fun side of life.

Pea takes her inspirations from a start in film photography many (many) moons ago; Maho takes his from a writing background exploring the human condition. This combined forms a love of all those moments which can tell a story and a need to capture said moments.

When a couple of “Pigs in Love” possess some of the the great qualities of life, such as a sense of intelligent and witty conversation, the understanding of what constitutes the best of food (Bacon!) plus a nose and a palette for superb wines; you get Meredith and Jeremy.

We were privileged to capture their special day; one that saw friends and family travel to Melbourne from Brisbane and further afield to finally celebrate the union of this wonderful pair.

It would be simple to write a little here to try and convey some of what we witnessed on this bright and sunny day in Prahran. It would be easy to type a line or two on the fantastic job they did in creating their day with the help of each other and friends. It would be a cinch to bring a story to life in words that tell of the happiness and love for family and friends.

But … All I would do is mar the wonderful story of two people getting married in front of the people that mattered … oh and a little puppy too.

Words cannot describe what we were very lucky to capture.

Tara, Sam and Olly – From Bendigo to Brighton Beach

On what was a beautiful Autumn Sunday, Tara, Sam and Olly came down the highway from Bendigo to Brighton Beach. We were fortunate enough to get to hang out with them and take some shots of their life and relationship before they tie the knot in December.

Tara and Sam are absolutely wonderful together. Add in Olly and you have something that just keeps you smiling well after meeting them … something that many of us wish for … something that transcends all other emotions, even love. It is a completeness where everything just fits.
